I applied to the toenail that looked bad from a previous fungus. It started healing from the top, and slowly, the healing started from the top. You could see the healthy nail coming out. I have naturally long nails and sometimes they develop a slightly yellow color depending on what I'm doing. I would recommend a base coat of clear, a coat of this product and then a top coat of another clear. Two coats of this will give your nails a florescent "hue" that is not attractive, so I'd stick with just one coat. It will make your natural nails look healthy and white.
