VERY HARD TO COME BY! I add a bottle of water, 2 scoops (a little over the top on each), 1 banana, and 2-3 ice cubes. I use a KOIOS blender, but it for about 15 seconds and it's pretty perfect! Smooth, a little thick and sometimes there's small chunks of bananas but I don't mind you could just blend for another 10 seconds. Some people add too much ice and it's chunky- i also read where someone added water and almond milk AND 8 ice cubes (way too many) and it was watery- well duh.. your ratio to powder and liquids is way off. I love that there are loads of vitamins, good amount of protein it complements my vitamins and minerals deficiencies and I definitely feel a considerable difference. I'm on my feet for 6-10 hours straight, very physical job as a professional medical massage therapist. This shake (with a banana) gets me easily through 7 hours of straight massage. I take women's complex vitamins PURE encapsulation brand once a day a few hours after my shake. I am certainly ready for dinner when I get home it seems to stave off Hunger for about 8 hours for me. If I get hungry before the end of my shift I just have a hard boiled egg. Not sure about weight loss because I'm not monitoring weight; my goal with this meal replacement shake is proper clean nutrition. I do feel a boost of energy, no brain fog, a little fullness so the Hunger doesn't come on until dinner time, zero bloating, many other great things. I tried the Peanut Butter first. Like I said, It's not bad, and for the all the nutrients in this, it's like taking a multivitamin in your smoothie. It wasn't really tasty, nore was it undrinkable. However, I did doctor these up, I bought 4 lb bags of frozen cherries and 3 lb bags of blueberries to mix in. I'm from Hawaii, so, we get the candy apple bananas (locally grown). I freeze them and add them to the vitamix. So frozen Cherries, Blueberries and Banana. Plus, I add a handful of spinach, some cinnamon and ginger root. I will sometimes add a few dates to the mix if I'm feeling like a need a bit more sugar. I will usually add in 4 scoops, and pure it into a pitcher so I can have a smoothie the next day without having to clean the vitamix. I feel it gives me my protein and will provide a meal a supplement. I have to admit, I was going to try Kachava, but I am glad I bought this instead. I also use just water to mix. No almond milk or or juice. However, I notice there is some grit in with the shake, like the powder didn't mix all that well, so, you be advised to have a really good blender to like a ninja or blendtec to get this blended well. I am still working on the chocolate, and I prefer the Peanut Butter flavor over the Chocolate, I was excited to try the Chocolate as I'm a Chocolate lover, but the flavor was is really weak, unlike the peanut butter, the flavor is stronger and I prefer that.
