I understand your cat and dog are used to sharing one bowl; however, the dosage recommendations for each size animal is quite different. Your cat would just need one capful of Pre-Biotic whereas your dog would need four capfuls.Another suggestion would be to monitor that the cat and the dog so that don't drink while the other is having their water. I was a little worried that she wouldn't like that it's minty, since she is very fussy, but she doesn't seem bothered by it at all. Her breath has improved some and she seems to have come out of a little slump, during which she didn't move around a whole lot or jump up on the bed. She is more active now and has no trouble get up onto the bed or jumping down. Our dog Benji had to have a terrible surgery on his hip to repair a fracture. As a result he was on some medications that upset his stomach some and he was forced to take antibiotics for a month. We had to do something to get his stomach back in order. This water additive was a true lifesaver.
