Total Advanced Pro-Shield Mouthwash, Peppermint - 60mL

Both adults and kids in our household use Colgate mouthwash, and we love it. It leaves our mouths feeling fresh and clean without the harsh burning sensation that many mouthwashes have. The mild formula makes it great for the whole family, and the results are consistent. We even subscribe to it monthly so we never run out.

You can’t go wrong with the Colgate mouthwash with fluoride. I like the taste and how the bottle opens without having to push the sides in. It’s a little strong for me so I add 1/3 water to 2/3 mouthwash and it’s perfect. Sometimes I use it before I brush, sometimes I use it on my way out of the house. Makes my mouth feel fresh and clean! With the Colgate name you can trust it’s a win-win with this mouthwash. The price is good too.

If you don't care for the "bite" of other brands like Listerine which almost hurts, this is a really good option. And perhaps best of all, it does not taste bad and does not give you medicine-alcholhol breath. Another major brand smells bad like sourness when spit into the sink, and of course you know the rather harsh flavor of the big L brand. But Colgate this has a nice taste and does NOT have any annoying aftertaste. It works as well as any of the others and I have tried them all. And my gum issues seemed to be genuinely helped by this brand. If your gum problems have been aggravated by the harsher alcohol ingredients of the other brands, THIS is what you need! I was pleasantly surprised by this brand, as I do not normally use Colgate toothpaste so I had no pre-established loyalty to the name Colgate when I tried their mouthwash...but it blew the others away. I won't go back to the other Lis... or Sco.... brands, this is just a better mouthwash.

The flavor reminds me of the old days when I used to use their toothpaste. Put some in my mouth and instantly remembered that old Colgate taste. I bought this because it said "Peppermint" and I thought that'd be a nice try from all the typical mint flavors you see. But I didn't know it was straight up gonna taste just like their toothpaste. lol The flavor kinda gets old after a while, because it just tastes like you liquified a peppermint candy cane and put some drops of it in the mouthwash. lol But it only burns a tiny bit when you're swishing it around. After use, I do feel like my mouth is refreshed and cleaner. However, I can't help but feel like it just isn't doing a good enough job. You can tell it has lasting effects to help ward off funk on your teeth, but it's just a bit lackluster. I'm still going to finish it all, and it works just fine. Definitely a good value for price.

I have a dry mouth and regular mouthwash greatly exacerbates the problem. This mouthwash is great for anyone, especially people who don't like the typical burning sensation from the alcohol in most mouthwashes. I like the peppermint flavor and the fact that it has fluoride.
