## Description

Take stormwater runoff captured by grates, catch basins, channel drains, and other drainage systems to drain pipe, and carry it to a point of release downstream to discharge with a Pop-Up Drainage Emitter. The Pop-Up Drainage Emitter connects to 3 in. and 4 in. sewer and drain fittings which connect to sewer and drain pipe and triple-wall pipe. Cover is made of polyethylene.

Review: Still doing an excellent job after ~3.5 years - 1) This product provides great value for your money. It helps so much with yard drainage and costs very little. 2) It's so durable. I've been monitoring it for about 3.5 years now, and it has withstood all the sun, heat, and thunderstorms nature has thrown at it. Also, it has never caught the blade of my lawn mower, which has probably passed over it around 100 times now. 3) The rounded interior contours, internal ribs, and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) construction contribute to the overall strength of the product. 4) It's so simple to install if you've done your measurements in advance. 5) Cleaning the product is easy, although I've almost never had to over the years. But it's just as effortless to remove this product from the pipe as you might expect for something that stays embedded in your lawn all year long. 6) The emitter pops up just like it's supposed to during heavy storms that cause copious drainage. When installed properly, this product performs extremely well.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Why do you describe this as 3 inch and 4 inch?   one answer suggests it's 4 inch not 3 inch... so isn't your description wrong?  certainly unclear.**
A: The pop up head fits into a 4" PVC SDR35 fitting or over a 3" PVC SDR35 fitting

**Q: The pipe we have is 3 3/8 inches o.d.  The emitter fits over it, but not snugly.  Can anyone tell me what kind of adapter to use?**
A: Just use a screw(stainless to prevent rust). Drill a small hole threw the pipe and emitter rim and secure the emitter to the pipe.  Common fix.

**Q: For anyone that has used the popup valve, do you get soil erosion around the popup valve?  I'm going to be using this with a sump pump.**
A: I've had mine for one year. It discharges an underground drainpipe leading from an upgradient catch basin that drains what used to be a waterlogged low area next to my house. I see no erosion by the popup, which is on a hillslope barely above the soil surface where a grassy lawn grows. It looks just like the rest of the lawn.

**Q: Does it come in gray or white color?**
A: Gray or white ???? I don't know for sure.  Mine are a dark forest green.  I never seen anything to indicate there are any color choices. Does not seem likely but again I cannot say for sure.  Try looking on internet for manufacturer web site.  If green is undesirable I suppose some spray paint might be appropriate.
