## Overview

The Raven PVC Termination Cap Mesh Screen Vent Cover is a 6" inner diameter, 6.62" outer diameter stainless steel vent cap designed for outdoor furnace and roof exhaust pipes. Featuring a patented drainage slot to prevent condensation buildup, it offers superior corrosion resistance with 304-grade stainless steel mesh that blocks debris and pests while maximizing airflow. Compatible with PVC or rubber adapters (sold separately), this vent cover is a durable, efficient solution for residential and commercial HVAC systems.

## Description

Please read these important details about the vent cap inside diameter measuring 6" inch and the outside diameter measuring 6.62" inch, therefore using the same size pipe with the mesh pipe cover WILL NOT FIT. The unique feature of the Raven termination vent earned the patent because it allows water condensation to drain out from the pipe. The furnace vent exhaust allows smooth airflow through the stainless steel mesh screen. From the top edge to the bottom edge of the termination cap, a small inward curved slot runs along the outer part of the termination vent that helps with the flow of liquid condensation escape from the pipe. A compatible PVC pipe can be connected with the mesh screen termination ends insert together with the adapter that can be either a PVC or a rubber flexible elbow coupling or a hub fitting (not included) to ensure that the flow is uninterrupted. The stainless steel mesh screen vent cap can be easily fitted on any compatible PVC as an exposed pipe cover. The 304 grade type of stainless steel corrosion resistance quality of the mesh screen provides the strength and durability to resist obstruction of leaves, and debris and prevents, birds, bugs plus wildlife from entering the mesh wire screen as exterior pipe cover. The unique design of the mesh screen allows maximum airflow through the vent to discharge output effectively. Useful for residential or commercial applications. Please note that the PVC or rubber flexible elbow coupling and hub fitting is not included and must be purchased separately. The PVC mesh screens for pipes are available in other sizes in 2, 3, and 4 inches.

## Features

- ATTENTION: Please Read: the inner diameter measures 6" inch and the outer diameter measures 6.62" inch, therefore any pipe connected with mesh pipe cover WILL NOT FIT so adapter such as PVC / rubber elbow or coupling must be purchased separately (not included) - please see listing images and infographic below for more details on compatible size to ensure correct pipe cap fitting
- PRODUCT PATENT: PVC drain screen cover with wire round mesh screen built in slot allows water condensation to drain out on the side of the PVC vent screen cap attached to the exposed pipe outdoor through the ground, wall, or roof as shown in the listing images and infographic
- SIMPLE & COMPATIBLE: mesh screen vent cover is easy to install and no effort is required by inserting the termination vent cap inside the hub or adapter of the PVC / rubber elbow or coupling (not included) compatible with pipes connected to high efficiency furnace, steam, water heater, air intake, exhaust, roof vents, sewer and water drains
- TOUGH: the white stainless steel termination vent mesh screen cover is the best pipe cover for outdoor that won't corrode or rust preventing leaves, debris, birds, bugs, and wildlife from entering the mesh screen vent pipe cover
- AIRFLOW: PVC pipe cover works as pipe screens with stainless steel mesh screen cap that allows maximum airflow for the furnace work through the mesh screen vent termination cap as an outdoor conduit

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I have a 3" wide opening. the 2 inch looks too small and the 3 inch looks too big. what size do i get?**
A: These fit into the 3” pvc fitting that about 3 3/8”. Your vent maybe 2 1/2” that was very popular 15 yrs ago. Pvc is measured inside diameter.

**Q: Will this snugly fit over the metal 4 in. furnace vent ( e.g. galvanized Quick Fit Duct, 4" , female smooth end)**
A: I’m not sure. I wish I could include a picture. Ours went just inside of pvc piping that is venting something from our basement and the fit was perfect inside the pipe.

**Q: I have a 4" outer diameter pcv exhaust vent. will the 4" cap fit or should i order the 3" since the inner diameter is approx 3.5"? thx.**
A: I'm not exactly sure but I had a 2" inch pvc pipe and I ordered the 2" screen. Hope that helps. Whatever the pipe is listed as, buy the vent the same size. 4" pipe 4" vent.

**Q: what is the spacing measurement on the mesh screen (size of the squares) ? Thank You!**
A: 0.4 inch - Please click on the "click more images" to enlarge and you will see the 8th image on the right side showing the spacing of the square close-up with zoom.
