They may be a little more expensive than the cut/make your own plain sponges but it’s so worth it! When my husband got a drain put in his abdomen, the hospital barely gave us any supplies to comply with their directions so I was so glad to find these good quality affordable medical sponges & fast delivery. They are absorbent & they don’t stick to the skin & leave debris behind so it keeps the area clean & healthy. They are perfect to completely go under a surgical bandage (whatever they’re actually called) so helps to keep the area dry, protected & clean. They may be a little more expensive than the cut/make your own plain sponges but it’s so worth it! It’s wonderful to actually have the correct medical supplies - it’s made changing his dressing SO MUCH easier, faster & less painful. I highly recommend!
