The l/XL for these would be the same as a size 7/8 diaper that a 7-12 year old would be wearing(70-120lbs) **Q: Are the boys and girls the same?** A: The boys have thicker padding in the entire front and bottom, the back of the pull-up is thinner. This makes sense because of their anatomy. I've never used the girls pull-ups so I don't know if they are designed differently based on their anatomy as well.
