## Description

HydroSilex Recharge is a universal product that protects virtually any type of surface. The installation is extremely easy and once cured, it creates a transparent top layer that adds gloss and protects the substrate from the elements. HydroSilex Recharge can be used as a stand alone product or as a maintenance coating to revitalize other ceramic coating brands. You do not need to be certified or trained to apply HydroSilex, its that simple to use!

Review: I've Found Nothing Easier to use than HydroSilex - I've used HydroSilex Recharge for several years; switching from Prima Hydro. The 16 oz. bottle is enough to coat an Honda Pilot and a Toyota Tacoma several times, each. A bottle lasts me about two years. I only use it on clean, dry paint. I have not tried it while drying the paint. The Pilot is painted black and applying Recharge is quite simple. After washing and drying the vehicle, I work in sections: spray on, wipe off, buff clean. There are no streaks or spots and the gloss is very good. Keep a cloth in each hand: left hand for drying; right hand for buffing, and you can do an entire normal-sized vehicle in less than twenty minutes, with great results. It's the only product I've used on the Pilot that doesn't require meticulous technique to avoid swirls. I've had the Pilot nine years, and there are no easily noticed swirls or hazing. The plastic trim does show UV damage, so the HydroSilex didn't protect it. I use Cerakote on the trim now. I get the best durability when I reapply after two or three days. It maintains gloss and ease of cleaning for about six months. The vehicle is garaged about 3/4 of the time, so I can't comment objectively on the durability with UV exposure. The black paint gets quite hot in the sun. I suspect that would shorten the life of the coating. My truck is a neutral gray, which hides dirt well. I don't garage the truck, so it gets rain, snow, dew, frost, and plenty of UV exposure. The Recharge holds up very well. If the paint isn't dirty, I just wipe off the dew and the shine is still there. I will risk wiping off the dew when there's pollen on the paint, but not with dirt or dust. I recoat the truck about every four months, with a booster two days after application. It does not repel dust or pollen. They deposit just as they have with any other product I've used. I don't clean the paint without detergent. I can't comment on how easy removing dust or pollen without washing is. I've been tempted to try the graphene products, but the shine and beading of the HydroSilex belies the ease of application. I can't imagine I'd get noticeably different results with the newer coatings.
Review: Waxing should be THIS easy! - This stuff literally sprays on like water. Wipe it on "a workable area" - then buff it/wipe it off with a dry microfiber towel. It IS THAT EASY. I use a microfiber towel to apply it and a totally dry one to wipe it off. So I use about 6-8 cloths in the course of the job - and I am done. And it looks magnificent in under a half hour. NO ELBOW GREASE. JUST LIGHTLY BUFF IT OFF till its dry - and watch that deep shine! No HAZE to BUFF OUT! This stuff shines up THAT FAST and looks fantastic. I can do my entire vehicle in under 30 minutes - NO LIE. The catch? There is none! But some common sense DOES apply: First - If you have paint that has water spots on it - (or any other "film" laying on its surface after you wash and dry your paint, THIS STUFF IS NOT A RUBBING COMPOUND. You will need to first buff out your paint, with whatever "cut" is required to reveal the top surface of your clear-coat or paint - DO THAT FIRST. YOU ONLY NEED TO DO IT ONCE BEFORE PUTTING THE COATING ON. THEN use the HydroSilex Recharge - and it is just as I said. It is made to coat over, protect, and shine the existing finish - and it does exactly THAT. So far as the frequency of application is concerned - I have not even considered that very much. My truck or car will be dirty the first time it is driven in the rain or on wet roads, etc. - AND will need a good "detailing" again, afterward - if I want to "love it again". You want 6 months? I don't know - but I doubt it. And yet, here's the truth: After the sheer EASE of applying the stuff, I really don't care! I haven't tried building up multiple coats yet, but the appearance looks EVERY BIT as good - or better - than ANY premium wax or polymer coating I have ever used. If I have to do it every month - it is worth it - despite its premium price tag. Some things are just worth it. NOW TO BE HONEST....I started out buying the smaller 16 oz bottle. I was able to do my truck twice and my car once before running out. And I wanted to be fair and give "other brands" a chance to compete. So I bought another brand claiming to be the ultimate ceramic coating. "Lithium Auto Elixirs Ceramic Slam" - 16 oz for $39 - right here on desertcart. I knew I was in trouble as soon as I read the label, saying "there's no free lunch". Yeah - in other words, "you will work for this shine, if you want it". Well - I tried it on my hood - just to see. Disappointed. It hurt me bad. It DOESN'T go on "like water" - IT GOES ON LIKE A WAX! A milky "haze" is what you get when you spread it out, upon application. THEN they want you to let it dry for 5 minutes! Imagine doing only 2 foot sections and waiting 5 minutes for drying on each one! Even if you are good and multi-task your drying and buffing - you will STILL do the work of buffing, like a wax job - AND IT TAKES THE SAME TIME. So for me - and this is just my opinion - So far - the Hydrosilex Recharge is king. Easy - fast - glossy/wet shine with a deep beautiful color. (Until something better comes along).

## Questions & Answers

**Q: if its really ceramic, why doesant it last for 3-5 years like car pro etc?**
A: The only way you can achieve a 3-5 year duration is with a true concentrated ceramic coating. These spray coatings are a SIo2 infused spray sealants designed to maintain or boost a permanent 9H ceramic coating.

**Q: So, this will make my car drift just like in the demo video?**
A: I'm pretty sure if you could drift your car before applying Recharge, I'm certain it won't hurt your car's ability to drift after Recharge. I really hope this was helpful.

**Q: Can this be used on aluminum? If so how does it work on it?**
A: Why Not? It works on all surfaces including metal, windows, and interiors But it's not an impervious coating. The surfaces will get dirty and after rain, it gets dirty. But it's good for a nice surface for a month. And you have to use apply it to the surface which takes some arm work. It's like the texture of water. But you are supposed to use it in a well ventilated area. I wear a dust mask.

**Q: Can this be put on a car wrap ?**
A: Not sure about a wrap but u out over the factory vinyl stripes on my gt500. No issue. Also over clear paint protective film

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product. Easy to use. Stop applying wax! Bottle pump seal durability is the only ding from me.
*by B***R on 13 August 2022*

Everything is solid. I just need the pump valve seals to last longer so that I can maximize usage without needing to transfer liquid. Worth the money. Huge time and sweat savings. A clean Tacoma can be done in 15 or 20min tops. Mustang in under 10 if booking it. Compare that to 1.5hr minimum or about 50 minutes with wax, respecitvely. Comparable durability. Allows for light applications and spruce up shines without dulling the finish with excessive wax layering. Works awesome on PPF too. Gain time back and get an even better shine with see through to paint clarity, just know that you may need to supplement your workout. Also buy nice microfiber cloths and dedicate to the task. Thanks!
