I dislike the fashion of those days, but these are timeless. They are dark and protect from the sun. They are extremely inexpensive. I have taken them all over the world. Now, they don't last like a $200 pair of sunglasses might but when they get lost or broken, it's no big deal. Everyone I know who see's them likes them! I've given plenty of these away. Once, while vacationing in Peru, a weird blue crab grabbed them and made off with them. I got them back minus one of the black arms. The crab was completely unhurt but I guess he wanted in on the fashion. Somewhere in the world is a crab that is probably still holding the arm of the sunglasses. Anyway, they're excellent. I keep mine in my car, by my door and use them all the time. I highly recommend them!
