Very impressed on the manufacturing tolerance here, when I draped the cover over the new keyboard it was an absolutely flawless fit. I write for a living, am using my keyboard 10+ hours a day, and it's taking a a little while to adjust to the increased friction of the keys with this on. But it's worth it knowing how much protection this offers. I picked up the clear version and it's probably 80% transparent - very easy to see the keys, and if you use the illuminated option, they look great. Will update re: reliability as this test goes on, but for now it's a no-brainer for protecting a pricey keyboard. update: It took about a week of daily use to get used to the feeling, and at this point, this skin is invisible. I just don't notice it, can type easily, the texture feels great.
