The receiver wouldn't work, then got it to work then would turn off, so in the end I ended connecting it a switch and all working, only down fall sometimes it doesn't pick a good signal so video quality not as good as when it picked agood signal up,

**Q: can this be connected directly to an android head unit?**
A: Hi yes if the unit has a (composite Video) video input this should work fine. I am using this on a sony unit and it works fine

**Q: The transmitter is lit up and on, but the receiver blue light is not coming on. am i missing something?**
A: Have you checked that the receiver has a 12volt supply

**Q: Hi I have a blue light on the transmitter and red on the receiver ... why is this**
A: I have two red lights on mine till I put my car into reverse  then both turned blue are they wired correctly as It so simple to install  maybe a fault with the receiver  if so contact seller they will replace it no problem

**Q: If the video output is composite video why is this device not compatible with a DVR that supports analogu composite video inputs?**
A: there is no reason why they shouldnt be compatible, the DVR ideally should support PAL and NTSC video standards. the transmission link should support both so really the camera determines the compatability

Works as described. Picture from camera can get a bit staticky but is still perfectly usable with no delay. Only flaw is that for the auto changeover to function you have to attach the stereo/display to the reverse trigger which probably took as long to find as just running a cable (this may be quicker depending on vehicle).
