WOW! OK, I received a few of these crack cocaine caramels in my stocking at my in-law's house this Christmas...and boy was I hooked! I actually traded my all my chocolate with my kids for their share. These Bequet caramels taste homemade and you can taste and feel the bits of sea salt in them which really helps to cut the sweet flavor. I have made homemade salted caramels in the past and these are BETTER! I looked on Amazon and lo and behold, they had them. So...I ordered a package in January which I promptly ate in just under a week. Not exactly helpful with New Year's resolutions, but totally dreamy with a cup of tea around the fireplace, or after a meal for a quick treat, or in the afternoon for a pick-me-up, or before bed for sweet dreams or with a cup of coffee in the morning for a light breakfast. I mean, I can make a good excuse to eat these anytime. I even have our office admin buying these for the snack room.

I bought the Béquet Caramel with Celtic Sea Salt simply because I love caramels - but I wasn’t expecting them to be this incredible. The flavor is rich and buttery with just the right touch of sea salt to enhance the sweetness without overpowering it. Each piece melts beautifully in your mouth and has a smooth, creamy texture that feels luxurious. I’ve had a lot of caramels over the years, but this is honestly the best I’ve ever tasted. If you enjoy artisan-style treats or are picky about texture and balance, you’ll appreciate how well-crafted these are. Highly recommended for caramel lovers - just be warned, it’s hard to stop at one!

First discovered at Costco but no longer offered there. A splurge given the cost but so delicious (and made in the USA). Highly recommend to all soft caramel lovers.
