It keeps his books and stationery together as he moves around school for lessons without taking his backpack around. The size is slightly bigger than an A4 and can hold a clipboard, a reading record, various workbooks and reading books, pencil case, ruler and earphones, so a good size. It lasted a little over a year before the zip failed and we replaced it with another one.
