It was 12 inches along the mid length edge of it and that was what caused the issue. I needed a smaller one than that but I still have a use for it since I do leather work. It is a good way to get perfect right angles when I need them. Don't get me wrong there. These large triangles will still function for anyone using a full-sized drafting or art table.
