Review: Brilliant kitchen helper - I have got to admit, that this was an impulse buy. When it arrived, the box was MASSIVE. While unpacking it, I thought to myself . . why did you buy this. Well I have to admit 'Madge' is wonderful, and I'm so glad I bought her. I've always made pastry by hand, but never again. Pastry made using the Magimix is the best ever. I've used it to finely chop the glut of tomatoes from my greenhouse, to make the most delightful tomato sauce. I've made mayonnaise for the first time too. The only downside is, I seem to end up with a mountain of washing up, what with the various parts. A small price to pay for a wonderful machine though.

### ⭐ Heavy and Not Good for grating

Very heavy to use and doesn’t seem to work how I needed it too. With my arthritic hands I bought it to grate and shred to save my hands, however I have found it more difficult to use than the cheap hand grater. It seems to leave huge slices of carrot or sweet potato, or whatever I’m grating, in the bowl it slips down the sides. Big waste of money for me, doesn’t work like it should and far too heavy for me with too many little pieces even on the lid that lock together making cleaning it a very long winded task.
