We suggest pumping the tea tree onto a moistened wash cloth (1-2 pumps), and gently rub the lid margin with the wash cloth, then rinse with warm water, so that process usually takes about 2 minutes. There’s really no timeframe the foam needs to be left on for it to be effective. We do recommend the maximum time to be left on being around 2 minutes.
