The white light is pretty bright and covers a wide area. The red light is expectedly not as bright but covers enough area for your immediate workspace and for directly on the ground in front while walking. Comfortable to wear for long periods. Great value for 2 pack. Don't have anything to knock it so far. Just wish the red light had both a brighter light and the lower light setting. Currently it has just the red lower light and red strobe setting.
