A: I agree with you. It’s pretty misleading. The box says designed and engineered in California but assembled in china. Such bs that a lot of companies claim to be USA manufacturers but all there shxt is made in china

A: Yes it has a sturdy safety latch on the hook.

**Q: will the hook fit into a 3/4 " diameter eyebolt?**
