With Singapore (East) and US (west, Voltage from outlets in the wall are different. It's 110 and 220 V. Forget which is which, but you will need a transformer. And to others who are being sarcastic and nasty; shame on U! Can't say you are grown ups if you act like middle school kids. **Q: How does this do with bread dough?** A: I have a older version of the mixer (I believe - looks the same, my model # is K45SS, is about 20 years old, and it is 250 Watts). It will handle almost anything. The only thing it has sort of labored over is REALLY THICK granola that I make with grains, nuts, seeds, and almond butter as the only liquid. It will stand up and salute (the granola mixture, I mean, prior to baking)! I fill up the Kitchen Aid stainless steel bowl till almost overflowing and the mixer goes to town (well, slowly). You must make sure it will take the watts. Most kitchenaid mixers are 350 watt or less. So a good 600 watt transformer will work no problem. Do not but those little adapters they will burn up. A 600 watt transformer weighs about 15 to 18 pounds. They have heavy copper windings inside. They will have a 220/240 plug on one side of the box and American outlet with an on/off switch and sometimes a fuse or circuit breaker. I ran these transformers for years in Naples Italy. **Q: what size motor** A: Mine has a 275 Watt motor. I have the attachments for slicing, shredding and meat grinding ect .
