Once unpacked and placed in the trap it will last for two months. **Q: can it be used in skeeter vac (blue rhino)?** A: Yes, the BG-Sweetscent also works with with this trap. **Q: Do I need to replace the bait if it gets wet? The entire trap got soaked in rain.** A: I have not needed to do that with mine. The only reason to replace the bait is that the trap stops attracting mosquitos.
