**Q: I am also looking for confirmation of the external and internal dimensions.  Is the depth (height) 12"?**
A: the depth is 8" the box measures 8" deep by 13" wide and 19" long inside dimensions

**Q: Anyone have photos using it above ground as a platform?  what color is it?**
A: H it is black in color. It is not typically used above ground because it would require support on the sides where the top overhangs the bottom basin.thanks!StevePond & Garden Wholesalers

**Q: Does it require a Splash mat?**
A: No, a splash mat is not required.  I covered mine with river rock.

**Q: We don't run our fountain daily.  Do you think it would hurt the plastic to use a bit of chlorine in the fountain to prohibit mosquitoe growth?**
A: Thanks for your question. I don't think the plastic would have any trouble with a little chlorine. Just keep in mind that when you do run the fountain it's going to cause that chlorine to dissipate quickly. Chlorine doesn't care for moving water at all.
