Made from food-safe fired clay, it’s a sustainable, low-maintenance kitchen essential favored by home bakers and pros alike. ## Description Brown Sugar Bear is the perfect addition to baking supplies for preserving brown sugar and many other cooking and baking ingredients. Made from a specially fired clay, it helps to maintain desirable moisture levels in brown sugar and all types of sugar for approximately 3 to 6 months, depending on climate. No more chiseling through rock-hard sugar! Easy to use. Simply soak the Brown Sugar Bear in clean water for 20-minutes, pat dry, and place with items in an airtight container. Moisture is released slowly to keep items moist longer. Should items begin to harden, just remove Brown Sugar Bear and repeat the soaking process. Use to soften and maintain moisture in brown sugar, granulated sugar, sugar in the raw, turbinado sugar, and sugar substitutes, even baked goods, cakes, cookies, marshmallows, even dried fruit. Or, use it dry without soaking to absorb moisture and keep spices, salt, crackers, pretzels and chips dry and crispy. Brown Sugar Bear is reusable, over and over again. Rinse with clean water only. Do not use soap as it could leave a trace taste or scent. ## Features - Brown Sugar Bear maintains moisture in brown sugar for approximately 3 to 6 months - Made from specially fired clay; food safe and reusable - Soak in water for 20-minutes and place in brown sugar, baked goods, cakes, cookies, marshmallows, even dried fruit to soften and maintain moistness - Use dry, without soaking, to absorb moisture and keep spices, salt, ers, pretzels and chips dry and crispy - Rinse with clean water only; do not use soap as it could leave a trace taste or scent ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08BS59J2K | | ASIN | B08BS59J2K | | Best Sellers Rank | #283,576 in Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Kitchen ) #177 in Martini Glasses | | Brand | Brown Sugar Bear | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (415) | | Customer reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (415) | | Date First Available | 21 July 2020 | | Format | Clay | | Item model number | 54923/3 | | Item model number | 54923/3 | | Manufacturer | HIC Harold Import Company, Inc. | | Manufacturer | HIC Harold Import Company, Inc. | | Package Information | Bag | | Product Dimensions | 6.76 x 5.08 x 3.81 cm; 200 g | | Product Dimensions | 6.76 x 5.08 x 3.81 cm; 200 g | | Product Name | Original Brown Sugar Saver and Softener, Terracotta | | Units | 3.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Brown Sugar Bear - **Item Form:** Clay - **Item Weight:** 0.2 Kilograms - **Number of Items:** 3 - **Unit Count:** 3.0 Count ## Images ![Brown Sugar Bear Original Brown Sugar Saver and Softener, Terracotta, Set of 3 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41RuFUz59kL.jpg) ![Brown Sugar Bear Original Brown Sugar Saver and Softener, Terracotta, Set of 3 - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41d0-7jVnxL.jpg) ![Brown Sugar Bear Original Brown Sugar Saver and Softener, Terracotta, Set of 3 - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71qMETY1svL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Style** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Brown Sugar Bear Original Brown Sugar Saver and Softener, Terracotta, Set of 3 - Brown Sugar Bear Original Brown Sugar Saver and Softener, Terracotta, Pack of 2 - Rubbermaid Brilliance Pantry Airtight Food Storage Container, BPA-Free 7.8 Cup, Ideal for Brown Sugar - Efficient, Leak-Proof and Dishwasher-safe --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/306909448-brown-sugar-bear-original-brown-sugar-saver-and-softener-terracotta](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/306909448-brown-sugar-bear-original-brown-sugar-saver-and-softener-terracotta) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
