He has slept with it every night.I have read reviews where blue light is terrible for sleeping he hasn't had any issues waking up.The stars/moon can rotate colors, stay a solid color or mix 2 colors. I believe they mix a red, blue, green etc. With white.The cover also tones down the brightness if you prefer. There are three buttons which I haven't fully figured out just yet so I just press them until it turns the color desired by my 4 year old Haha.***The light only comes with a very short cable. You will need to add the plug-in for the wall.
