My dog has long hair and a LOT of it. **Q: Does the shampoo come with strong perfume smell? I do not like strong smell. Neither does my dog.** A: It does have a strong smell for about a day. I don't like it but the benefits outweigh the scent. I think wet dogs are unpleasant regardless. **Q: Should I towel dry my dog or only air dry?** A: I towel dry Pebbles a little, pat dry not rub. But only because she is very cold natured. Then I let her finish air drying. **Q: Can you use weekly?** A: I believe so. When we first got our little shih tzu rescue, she had some skin issues & our vet suggested bathing her weekly & this is the shampoo we used. In fact I take this to the groomer along with the conditioner to use on Gracie every 4 weeks. Both products smell sooooo good. ## Frequently Bought Together - Zymox Enzymatic Shampoo for Dogs and Cats, 12oz - Zymox Leave On Conditioner for Pets, 12 fl oz - Zymox Veterinarian Strength Topical Cream with 1% Hydrocortisone for Dogs and Cats, 1oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/3048444-zymox-enzymatic-shampoo-for-dogs-and-cats-12oz](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/3048444-zymox-enzymatic-shampoo-for-dogs-and-cats-12oz) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
