The holes from the back work great for passing cables in from behind the rack also, nice surprise. The model I purchased has the narrower depth "finger" so be careful if you have long plugs as they will be hard to bend into the fingers. The monoprice slimrun cables just barely plug into my switch then bend down into the fingers, tight fit. However, it looks cleaner since it doesn't stick out as far. This product is also made of a nice quality metal and not plastic like the ones I'm used to at work. Great value!
