Review: Perfect Power Solution for My BMPCC 4K - As someone who shoots a lot with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, this Alvin's Cables D-Tap Power Cable has been a lifesaver for my setups. I’ve been using it for a few months now, and it’s made powering my camera from a V-Mount or Gold Mount battery incredibly easy and reliable. No more worrying about draining my camera’s LP-E6 batteries in the middle of a shoot! The Weipu 2-pin female connector fits securely into the camera and ensures a stable connection, even during longer shoots or while moving around with the camera. The cable itself is well-made, and the length is just right for me to mount it neatly without any messy tangling. The quality of the cable is durable and feels solid, which is important when you're on the go and need something that can withstand daily use. The real benefit for me has been the freedom it gives me in terms of shooting time. With this cable, I can use my V-Mount batteries, which are much larger and last a lot longer than the standard camera batteries. Whether I’m shooting interviews, documentaries, or narrative content, this power cable keeps my BMPCC 4K running all day without a hitch. If you're shooting with a BMPCC 4K and need a reliable power solution, this is definitely worth considering.
