I had to take the panels off and reinforce the panels themselves as well as mount more of these feet and use larger washers to help disperse the forces. That said I’m about to order some more for another install but this time I’ll use a lot of them, which will help not only with wind lift but as well as dispersing the forces generated by a heavy snow load. **Q: Does anyone know what the ground clearance is? Like how high off the ground will the panel sit?** A: The clearance between the solar panel bottom edge and whatever you're mounting it to is about an inch. The bracket is fairly thin (but sturdy) so its essentially a flush mount to the solar panel.
