This product is a "SPRAY SILICONE LUBRICANT!" **Q: Is this release agent made of silicone? or is it for silicone molds? Will it damage silicone molds or castings?** A: Yes, it is silicone. I use it on a wood mold on which I place Fosshape to make hat inserts (using a steam iron or heat gun). The product works OK. You don't need to use much. It is supposed to be colorless but I notice a slightly yellow stain on the Fosshape, but that is probably coming from the wood (I should have made the mold from some other material).
