Review: For a strap.... it's a really nice strap! - For just being a strap with a hook, I am impressed with this. I ordered it to be a replacement for my old boat winch.... but now that I see how nice the strap is, I wish I wouod have just bought the whole boat winch from Rhino. This thing is tough, the stitching all has double lock stitches, which will keep the thread from coming undone. The hook is sturdy, but not too big where it doesnt fit the loop easily. Its coated nice and I think it will last a long time. The little locker mechanism seems sturdy. Its heavier than my last strap... not a bad thing at all. Overall, it's a great value for what you get!

A: I agree with you. It’s pretty misleading. The box says designed and engineered in California but assembled in china. Such bs that a lot of companies claim to be USA manufacturers but all there shxt is made in china

For just being a strap with a hook, I am impressed with this. I ordered it to be a replacement for my old boat winch.... but now that I see how nice the strap is, I wish I wouod have just bought the whole boat winch from Rhino. I bought the heavy duty version, like it says, heavy duty, beleive them, it is. This is probably more than I needed, but, I will never need to replace it. It's very well made, not crap from you know where, this one is American made.
