It also helps prevent smashing your bristles flat. What I did was get a dozen small canvas pouches and put 1-2 dens of different calibers inside with a small bottle of lube, a small punch tool, and a plastic pry tool. Then I put one bag in my bugout bag, my range bag, my truck, etc. It beats the hell out of just not cleaning your firearm and a more intensive maintenance is really only required once in a while in most cases. The other nice feature that isn't really clear until you have used a snake is that the handle makes getting it pulled through the action at the thickest part much less of a chore. **Q: Is this the new one with the T-handle?** A: Yes, the lid of the “den” is meant to be used a T-handle. However, it’s not really needed in my opinion **Q: Will the 22 caliber work for a 25 ?** A: I believe that the .22 is intended for the .223 as well but if you used it on .25 it probably wouldn't scrub as well due to the looser fit. **Q: Will this work on the s&w m&p .380 shield ez?** A: Yep 380 is also known as 9mm kurz or 9mm browning.
