Often times, when the system or head models end in a "-H" it is a model specific to a brick and mortar store. 3M makes several lines of replacement cartridges, so you'll want to ensure that "Filtrete" specifically is listed on the replacement cartridge that you purchase. Thanks for choosing Consolidated Foodservice! **Q: Is this, or does 3m make a filter that is the equivalent of the body glove gg 3000r (replacement filter)?** A: The Body Glove BG-3000r, is a proprietary cartridge. 3M does not have an equivalent cartridge. **Q: Is this filter easy to install** A: Yes, it is very easy to install. There is a valve in the head, so you simply twist off the old filter and insert and twist in the new one. **Q: How do I know when it is time to replace the filter?** A: Hello, According to the manufacturer, these cartridges are good for 6 months at a time. Typically, when one starts needing to be replaced, you'll stat to find a chlorine odor or taste. This will tell you that the inside membrane has worn down and the carbon has been depleted enough to become ineffective. This is also a good indicator if the filter doesn't have a large enough capacity. Stoped repairing ice maker every year ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for Ice Machines and Soda systems *by I***R on 24 April 2022* My wife and I have a martini bar restaurant and we bought a new Manitowoc under the bar ice machine. From day one were using commercial carbon cartridge filters for the ice maker and the soda system. The system was C Pure AQUAKINGPSC10. The filters were cheap enough and we changed twice a year or so but we could never get rid of the calcium build up in the drain system of the ice maker. About every 3 to 4 months we would have a flooded floor where the ice maker drained the excess water out and it could not pass due to the calcium and it would run out the bottom. After a service tech showed the the issue, we cut a hole in the back were we could put draino in the small water catch and this would keep it clear. A real pain honestly but it was a solution. We just got used to the process. Then I noticed a lot if chain stores were using 3M at their ice machines so I decided to try this one. The cartridge cost was my only issue but I figured it might be worth a try. I installed the unit in August of 2020 and there has never been a calcium build up since. I decided to add the same system to the soda gun system which is the image shown. I change the filters once a year now and have no issues. Clearly a superior system to my previous cartridge system I had used for 4 years. I just ordered another one for my new spare ice machine. I will not be without 3M for my ice equipment again. The only thing I would suggest is installing a purge valve as shown in the picture if it is not going under a sink or some place that you cannot run some water through it. The cartridge does have some carbon that blows out quickly but it will give you gray ice if you don't purge it. ## Frequently Bought Together - 3M Water Filtration Replacement Cartridge for Commercial Ice Maker Machines HF20-S for High Flow Series ICE120-S, Reduces Sediment, Microplastics, Chlorine Taste and Odor, Cysts, Inhibits Scale - Essential Values 2-Pack Ice Machine Cleaner and Descaler 16 fl oz, Nickel Safe Descaler | Ice Maker Cleaner Compatible with All Major Brands (Scotsman, KitchenAid, Affresh) - PERCOLA HF20-S/HF20-MS/HF25-S Water Filter, Compatible with 3M® High Flow Series Cartridge HF20-S, 5615103/HF20-MS, 5615109/HF25-S,5615203, 3M® Water Filtration System, W/Scale Inhibitor (2 Pack) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/300854963-3m-tm-water-filtration-products-replacement-filter-cartridge-model-hf20](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/300854963-3m-tm-water-filtration-products-replacement-filter-cartridge-model-hf20) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
