**Q: Has anyone tried putting a weather proof sealer around where the antenna enters the black cylinder where the matching transformer is? One user seemed**
A: no never

**Q: how does it perform??? That's the very big question.**
A: I’m having problems transmitting long distance works great for RX can’t hit 6 meter repeaters in my area with this , seems to tune up ok not bad on the swr meter , just wish It was better in the TX part

**Q: Is this antenna all bands at once?  Or is it a single band antenna tunable within a large range ?**
A: Low SWR all across the hf bands. No tuner required.

**Q: Regarding the 3 holes on the side at the base of the antenna, is the top one supposed to be left "open"?**
