Compact, powerful, and incredibly reliable, this extraordinary tool shatters all expectations to deliver a beam so radiant, it redefines the very concept of clarity. At its core, the Fenix PD40R V3 is a beacon of pure power. With an amazing 3000 lumen maximum output, this flashlight is capable of casting a brilliant swath of light over a vast distance of 1640 feet or 500 meters. Whether navigating the heart of the wilderness or the corner of a dimly lit room, it ensures no detail goes unnoticed. The PD40R V3 isn't just about raw power, but also intricate control. Thanks to its innovative mechanical rotary power and mode switch, you hold complete command over the light. From a high-intensity beam to more subdued illumination, or even the life-saving SOS and dynamic Strobe flashing modes, adjust to any situation with just a simple twist. Our specially designed rotary switch is resistant to high-intensity magnetic interference that you might encounter with other rotary-switch lights! Powering this torchlight is the robust 5000mAh 21700 battery. On the low setting, it promises an exceptional 17-day runtime (89 hours), keeping the light shining when you need it most. Long hikes, camping trips, power outages—no matter the scenario, the Fenix PD40R V3 will remain steadfast by your side. As tough as it is bright, the Fenix PD40R V3 embraces ruggedness. It comes with an IP68 rating, guaranteeing full waterproofing, even when submerged up to 2 meters. With a resilience to impacts up to 1.5 meters, it's not just a flashlight—it's a companion that withstands the rigors of your adventures, rain or shine. Despite these powerful features, the Fenix PD40R V3 remains compact and user-friendly. Pocket-sized and fitted with a tough body clip, it is as portable as it is useful. Whether in your bag, your pocket, or in your hand, it always offers the perfect grip. Review: ease of use - very easy to use with the rotatory switch.. Review: Approaching perfection - What I really like is that you can stand it upright. During powercuts it will light up the room in the second setting(350 lumens). Good enough to read with. I love the rotary dial better then the click. The beam is just right. It lights up every thing and is also focused at the same time. Charging is by the new type C instead of the old micro USB. I don’t have to mention that the beam is incredibly powerful. That’s the reason why we buy a Fenix after all. The 3000 lumens settings has to be used in short bursts otherwise the head gets incredibly hot. The torch should be kept away from small children. This is meant to be purchased for a lifetime and not something you replace every few years. ## Features - SUPER BRIGHT FLASHLIGHT -The Fenix PD40R V3.0 is capable of a super bright 3000 lumen maximum output that reaches 547 yards in distance, a 23% percent boost from previous edition, making it an ideal duty light for professionals like law enforcement, inspection, and security. - USB-C RECHARGEABLE - The PD40R V3.0 has a fast-charging USB-C port to fully recharge the included battery within 3 hours, ready to go the extra mile whenever you need it. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B087QLNB9K | | Are Batteries Included | Yes | | Battery Description | 1 x 21700 lithium-ion battery | | Battery Type | Lithium Ion | | Brand | Fenix | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 394 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Aluminium | | Included Components | Battery | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 143D x 34W x 26H Millimeters | | Item Weight | 117 Grams | | Light Path Distance | 405 Metres | | Light Source Type | LED | | Manufacturer Part Number | PD40R V2.0 | | Material | Aluminium | | Model number | PD40R | | Number of Batteries | 1 Lithium Ion batteries required.
