Review: It works! - Okay, I know I'm late to the party, since this device has been around over a decade, but Yonanas is awesome! This machine can take frozen fruit and turn it into a soft serve ice cream consistency without anything else added! I've been interested in it for a long time, but always thought it'd be silly to have a device like this that can basically only do one thing (as opposed to a blender) but I just found it cheaper than normal on desertcart (the "classic" version for around 30 instead of 50) so as a lactose intolerant person I decided to finally get one and give it a try. We just finished our first attempt, which was a mix of two bananas, some strawberries and blackberries. It made a lot more than we expected, around 10 scoops! It was a bit softer than it'd be normally because I let the frozen fruit thaw longer than the recommended 7-10mins, but it was still great. The texture was creamy and perfect (besides some seeds from the berries), had nice flavor, and I am really happy and looking forward to trying a lot of other combinations. I rarely eat fruit but now this will definitely "trick" me into eating more. And since it's so healthy it doesn't feel as bad making it fancier with chocolate sauce or sprinkles. I really like the idea of using this to make an easy icebox pie too! That should really impress everyone at a party. The included recipe book is beautiful (and in a few languages), and there are a lot of other great ideas on their website and elsewhere online. The noise level wasn't as bad as I expected based on other reviews. Seems like a normal blender volume? So yes, noisy, but not enough to give me a headache or make it difficult to talk to someone next to you. **Q: what is difference between model number 901 and 902?**
A: From their website: The Yonanas Classic model (model numbers 901 and 902’s) features a recipe book with 36 recipes while the Deluxe model (model numbers IC0988RD13 and IC0988BK13) has a recipe book with 75+ recipes. Additionally, the Deluxe model has a premium chrome accent.

**Q: how does the 902 compare to the 901**
A: I purchased the 901 for my family and have given the 902 as gifts.  The only difference I see is the accessories which are included with the 901.  The machines themselves are pretty much the same.  I haven't used any of the accessories that came with mine, i.e. the containers to make frozen pops.  We use our Yonana machine several times a week.  We love it.  The fruit treat is just too darn good!  You know you have to be cheating on any diet, but it is just fruit!  Love it!

**Q: what the difference between  model 902 and 987**
A: I have only use the 902 model, but I believe the 987 is supposed to have a stronger motor.

**Q: does it come with a book of recepies? if you order from the website they send you a booklet...**
A: Yes, it comes with a book of recipes. But fyi, peel the bananas before you freeze them. It's extremely difficult to peel a frozen banana... Great buy, though!

Okay, I know I'm late to the party, since this device has been around over a decade, but Yonanas is awesome! This machine can take frozen fruit and turn it into a soft serve ice cream consistency without anything else added! I've been interested in it for a long time, but always thought it'd be silly to have a device like this that can basically only do one thing (as opposed to a blender) but I just found it cheaper than normal on Amazon (the "classic" version for around 30 instead of 50) so as a lactose intolerant person I decided to finally get one and give it a try. We just finished our first attempt, which was a mix of two bananas, some strawberries and blackberries. It made a lot more than we expected, around 10 scoops! It was a bit softer than it'd be normally because I let the frozen fruit thaw longer than the recommended 7-10mins, but it was still great. The texture was creamy and perfect (besides some seeds from the berries), had nice flavor, and I am really happy and looking forward to trying a lot of other combinations. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ You should have this!

Initial thoughts- I LOVE IT! I am so looking forward to using this over the summer. The device was easy to use. The consistency is just like ice cream or sorbet. It does not take a long time to make your frozen treats. The machine is a little bit loud but that’s OK. I didn’t mind. And I did notice a little leaking around the sides, which I was not sure if that was because I didn’t put the pieces back together well after washing everything before use so I will be observant of this the next time that I use it. For my first frozen treat, I did bananas, strawberries, and mangoes. It turned out very nice as you can see and was a very refreshing healthy treat. I am a diabetic, so I’m always looking for things that I can do without having to add sugar even though with this frozen treat, I’ll still have to be mindful of how much I eat to not increase my sugar, but I think this is a great asset for anyone who enjoys sweets, but is mindful of staying healthy. Absolutely would recommend!!
