Tie wrap it in place to hold the tape into place vs. Holding it yourself. It does fit pretty snug without the tape though.Definately would buy again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Personal Take on the Thenice Gear Shifting Knob Cover for My 10th Gen Honda Civic *by on Reviewed in the United States 10 January 2025* As a proud owner of a 2018 Honda Civic, I’ve always been interested in customizing the interior to reflect a sleek, modern style. While Honda nailed the Civic’s design, I’ve found that some areas—like the gear shift knob—lack the premium look and feel I wanted. That’s where the Thenice Gear Shifting Knob Cover comes in.After installing this cover, I’ve not only elevated the aesthetic of my car’s interior but also added a functional layer of protection to a heavily used part of my vehicle. Here’s why I think this product is a must-have for any 10th Gen Civic owner.First Impressions: A Perfect Fit and FinishRight out of the box, the quality of this cover impressed me. The material is lightweight yet sturdy, with a subtle matte black finish that perfectly complements the Civic’s interior. The contours were precise, ensuring it would fit snugly over the existing gear shift knob without feeling bulky. The black finish is understated but stylish, blending seamlessly with the Civic’s modern design language. It doesn’t scream for attention but rather elevates the overall look with a touch of refinement. The Installation Process: Quick and SimpleI’ll admit I’m not the most handy person when it comes to car modifications, but this installation was a breeze. The cover easily slipped into place, and the snug fit ensured it wouldn’t move around during use. I didn’t need any tools or adhesives—just a little patience to make sure it aligned perfectly. In total, it took me less than five minutes to install, making it one of the simplest upgrades I’ve done to my Civic.Everyday Use: Looks Good, Feels GreatWhat surprised me most was how much this little accessory enhanced the driving experience. Here’s what stood out:1. Improved Grip: The textured surface of the cover makes the gear knob more comfortable to hold, especially during long drives. It’s a noticeable upgrade over the factory smooth finish.2. Scratch and Wear Protection: With regular use, the gear shift knob on any car can start to show signs of wear. This cover adds a layer of protection, ensuring my Civic’s interior stays looking fresh.3. A Cohesive Look: The black finish pairs well with the car’s existing trim, making the interior feel more cohesive and polished. Why It’s Perfect for the 10th Gen CivicThe Thenice Gear Shifting Knob Cover is specifically designed for the 2016-2021 Civic models, and it shows. The fit is precise, leaving no gaps or awkward edges. It feels like an OEM part—like it was always meant to be there. This attention to detail is what sets it apart from other generic options. It’s not just a universal accessory—it’s made for Civic enthusiasts who want the best for their car.The Long-Term BenefitsAfter using this cover for a few months, I can confidently say it’s held up beautifully. It’s resistant to fingerprints and smudges, which ## Frequently Bought Together - Thenice for 10th Gen Civic Gear Shifting Knob Cover CVT Automatic Transmission Lever Trim Interior Accessories Compatible with Honda Civic 2021 2020 2019 2018 2017 2016 -Black - BRMYL Gear Shift Panel Frame Decals for 10th Gen Honda Civic 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 Accessories ABS Carbon Fiber Stickers - TKREENO Carbon Fiber Color Car Interior Center Armrest Box Cover Console Box Storage Box Trim Covers Auto Accessories for Honda 10th Gen Civic 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/300020659-thenice-for-10th-gen-civic-gear-shifting-knob-cover-abs](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/300020659-thenice-for-10th-gen-civic-gear-shifting-knob-cover-abs) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-11-05*
