**Q: Does it clear algae etc off the water feature itself or just keep the water clean?**
A: Fountain Clear certainly keeps fresh water clear in a water feature even in the tropics, so since using it we never have had an algae problem (which we previously always had using other products). The description says that it will clear algae so I think that if you skim the worst algae growth from the water and then use this, it should work.

**Q: Is this wildlife friendly?**
A: I am very concerned about this product being described as wildlife friendly, although I see that a number of people don't seem to have had an issue with it. We have a three tier cascade which runs into a small reservoir, the birds used to love bathing in the cascade, but since I started using this a month ago, all the birds have disappeared from the garden!

**Q: Can you still grow Water lilies and other plants in the fountain after using the cleaner. Or will it kill them?**
A: It is highly toxic and will almost certainly kill any plants in the fountain

**Q: Is it safe to use in a plastic reservoir?**
A: Not quite sure what a plastic reservoir is -but it won’t rot it. The major consideration re using this excellent product is -do not use in water in which birds or other animals may want to drink or splash about in.

We have a small water feature, and due to high temperatures it was suffering from algae forming very quickly and the pump being blocked. However a small dose of this product has made a huge difference. Water is running clear despite having to top the reservoir up frequently, and virtually no algae has appeared. Definitely recommend it. No problem for the birds who have a drink now and again. Worth what it cost

I ordered this for my small Water Feature Fountain, when it arrived I was a bit surprised how small the bottle was but, after througherly cleaning my Water Feature before, using the Hydra Fountain Clear liquid & reading the instructions, I added 4 drops of the liquid ( more than it said I needed, because where I live it's very hard Water) I really didn't know if the product was going to work, but I am happy to say it has after 2 weeks & I have topped up the water & not added any more Hydra Fountain Clear yet, it has worked really well, absolutely no sign of any green Algae or Discoloration of the water. Previously, I used to have to clean my water feature 2 or 3 times a week, which was quite time consuming as I had to dismantle it every time as it's quite difficult tricky to clean properly without breaking it because of the way it's designed. Anyway, I would recommend this product well worth the money. As a little goes a long way, providing, you clean your product before adding the solution ideally. The photo is of my Water Feature around 10 days after adding the solution my Water feature is in direct Sunlight for much of the day, which can my the water go cloudy more quickly, I believe.

Bought this to help clean a an amphora style water feature which hadn't been used on a regular basis for 12 years or so. I've never emptied the feature and refilled with clean water so this was a good test for the product. I used rule of thumb for the initial shock dose of 5ml in, what I guessed was about 30 litres of dirty water. Since then I've put in a couple of weekly top ups, using the bottle cap as a measure. The results look promising so far. The water feature is now running 24/7 and proof of algae removal is very evident. Additionally, the water is gradually becoming clearer. Easy to use and I would say good value for the price.
