Since these are more on the cloth side there is little to no crinkle. When disposing, they are easy to undo the tabs, roll up and use the tabs to secure the roll and dispose of. The tabs stay put once rolled up. The only suggestion is if you are on the end of the size or close to it, then size up. As far as medium goes, these do run small but are still manageable.
