Great Customer Service from the company!
Easy to use, very easy to put in and out of pool. I did have one that would not hold air. I contacted the company and they sent me a form to fill out. I sent them the form, receipt, and picture of one that was not working. The emailed my right away with a tracking number and are sending me a replacement ring. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!. As someone who has back issues, the large solar blanket that I have it too hard to get in/out for me on my own. With the rings I can do it all on my own, with similar results. Yes they are a little pricey, but well worth it. The full solar blankets are not cheap either, and I have to replace mine every two years.

May work. Who knows.
It’s hard to know how effective these work. There doesn’t seem to be any special materials used. They are basically inflatable disks. Mine don’t sit very flush to the water. The sides bend up a little (photo).I am using them anyway and will see how well they work, I guess.

If your rings fold up
I can’t speak yet to the warming power of these rings as I just put them into my pool. However, I’ve noticed reviews about the rings folding up and not laying flat. My first ring I somehow managed to get right the first time I inflated it, but some others folded on me when I put them in the pool. What I did to get the inflation correct was open the valve in the middle section of the ring while it was floating on the pool. Then, I opened the outer ring valve and filled with air until the ring laid flat. After that, I simply closed both valves and they are all floating flatly in the pool. Hope this helps!

Solution for bending rings
We initially had difficulty with folding of the solar rings from wind. We made support rings from 1/2 inch PEX plastic piping using plastic connectors. Our solar rings are for the most part staying flat in the water. We love the magnetic connectors that help keep the rings from moving freely in the pool.

Saves $$ on utility bill
These work better than I expected! (although the cat hates them-see photo!) We are in coastal Los Angeles, so not in a hot area, and have a pretty small pool and it would usually stay about 81 degrees without heating. These will heat the pool once the sun shines directly onto them to about 86, which means no heating is necessary! It is a bit tricky to get the magnets to all hookup, but I have found if you just toss them in, they eventually find each other's magnets. I also am hoping that this keeps the water evaporation down since we are trying to save water. I originally bought 6 and then 3 more in order to cover the hot tub portion and have one spare.
