It targets both the intrinsic muscles in the hand and the flexors in the forearm. This is a completely welded grip machine. By hand fitting and welding the carriage I can make a much smoother grip machine that can hangle 400+lbs. I build each of these as they are ordered. Even better is the fact that it is American made and produced in my home state of Kentucky. The setup was super easy and very quick.
