Designed for home and office use, it features a 6-foot cord, lighted on/off switch, diagnostic LED, and versatile mounting options. Backed by a lifetime warranty and $20,000 connected equipment insurance, it ensures your electronics stay safe and your workspace stays organized. ## Description Essential Surge Protection for Everyday Electronics Perfect for your home or office workstation, the TLP606B Protect It!® 6-Outlet Surge Protector offers a surge protection rating of 900 joules to defend your sensitive electronic components against strong surges and spikes. It protects all three residential power wires — hot line (H), neutral (N), and ground (G) — covering both full normal mode (H-N) and common mode (N-G/H-G). This ensures comprehensive protection for your valuable devices. Noise Filtering for Cleaner Power In addition to surge protection, the TLP606B filters out electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). These disruptions can cause hardware damage or data loss, so this added filtering helps maintain the performance and longevity of your electronics. Smart Outlet Configuration Your devices plug into six NEMA 5-15R outlets, one of which is placed at the end to accommodate a bulky transformer without blocking adjacent outlets. This thoughtful design makes it easier to connect all your devices without sacrificing outlet access. Built-In Safety and Control An integrated 15A circuit breaker protects all outlets and shuts down connected equipment in case of overload. A lighted on/off switch provides one-touch control over connected devices, and a diagnostic LED confirms your equipment is protected at a glance. Flexible Placement and Durable Design The six-foot (1.8-meter) AC power cord with NEMA 5-15P plug reaches nearby outlets, making it easy to fit into your workstation or home theater setup. Keyhole slots on the bottom panel provide convenient wall or desk mounting options. The black plastic housing is designed for long-lasting durability in any environment. Review: 10/10 Recommend! - I’m not usually one to splurge but I’m also pretty cautious, and I wanted to make sure my electronics wouldn’t suffer damage from any power surges. So I waited for a sale, and even though the price was still pretty high, I don’t regret my purchase. I’ve had no issues with power surges, but having this cable offers me peace of mind. You can also tell it’s high quality: the cable is thick and seems resistant to wear and tear. It looks just like it did when I bought it over a year ago. And I like the way it looks, too! Very sleek design. Review: Protect Against Lightning Strikes! - Twice have had lightning strike close by and take out some appliances because they were not on surge protectors. In fact the one strike hit a tree and fried the computer in two cars near the tree. Learned my lesson after second strike! Purchased Tripp Lite surge protectors since they make a great product. ## Features - SURGE PROTECTOR POWER STRIP: Features 6-outlets and 900 joules of surge protection to guard your home, office, and small electronics against surges, spikes and line noise. If you want to use this where it lays flat there are adapters you can get at any hardware store and maybe on amazon. **Q: Is the wall plug a standard straight plug or is it a right angle plug?** A: Most Tripp Lite have standard plugs in this price range. However, I only use Tripp Lite brand. Have a $25,000 stereo. Want real protection? Look into Tripp Lite ISOBAR units. Isobars have maximum protection, maximum noise reduction, any they do come with right any plugs. **Q: Is the foot print really 6.1" x 12.6"?** A: that's the shipping box size. unit is only 5x6 by a couple inches tallIT'S VERY COMPACT. WE LOVE THE CONVENIENT WAY PLUGS SWIVEL. **Q: Is the plug flat with the cable coming out at an angle so it can fit snuggly behind furniture?** A: No, the plug runs straight from the cord and is not a "flat plug" design. It needs about two and a half inches of clearance between the wall and the furniture. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 Recommend! *by C***S on November 2, 2025* I’m not usually one to splurge but I’m also pretty cautious, and I wanted to make sure my electronics wouldn’t suffer damage from any power surges. This has been a preferred brand for me for a long time. I use these for every outlet in the house where I have multiple things plugged in. Currently this one is being used for my pellet stove heater. They recommend a surge protector to keep the circuit board safe in case of power outages and surges. So far, so good. ## Frequently Bought Together - Tripp Lite 6 Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip, 6ft Cord, 790 Joules, Black, $20,000 INSURANCE (TLP606B) - Tripp Lite TLP808B 8 Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip, 8ft Cord Right Angle Plug, Black, Lifetime Insurance - Tripp Lite 1 Outlet Portable Surge Protector Power Strip, Direct Plug In, $5,000 Insurance (SPIKECUBE) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/297266-eaton-tripp-lite-tlp606b-black-6-outlet-surge-protector-power](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/297266-eaton-tripp-lite-tlp606b-black-6-outlet-surge-protector-power) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
