So, wanted to mention that this was pre-packaged from Fulton: it came from the factory with rubber sleeves on both ends of the bar, was placed inside a sturdy tube that had end-plugs, then shrink-wrapped, all before going in Amazon's box. Shipping damage seems to be common in these from other vendors, but Fulton took steps to avoid this. I don't have a surface that I know is true, but it appears to be straight.
