It's great, because I never know if there will be a crash cart where I'm going. I would say that the only advantage to a crash cart would be that you could leave it attached and unattended without leaving your laptop behind. So, say if you needed a local facilities person to click "finish" for you or something like that, you could leave a crash cart attached. I've never run into a situation where I wish I had a crash cart instead of this console though. I suppose the other advantage to a crash cart is that it comes with it's own table. I've had to sit on the floor a few times with my laptop in a cage where the customer didn't have any furniture. **Q: Does it have a copy paste feature so I can copy text out of the kvm onto my windows laptop?** A: The display is a graphical representation so there is no text recognition.
