Review: Protecting my garden from visitors of the night. - Well I never used a repellent and I wanted a safer product. I knew it was needed because in the morning some of my pots were upside down from creatures of the night. I had started with Solar deterrents all around my property because of moles. But I realize many other creatures are out at night moles, squirrels, owls, even geckos and snakes. Using this powder has really put some control in my yard. The only thing is to apply when there is no wind otherwise it may blow in your eye's and nose. (It tends to burn) But I feel it's worth the effort and time to protect all my plants. So, I recommend this product for anyone who wants to be a Happy gardener.
Review: Waste of money, not effective on dogs - I purchased Bonide Go Away hoping it would keep dogs out of my lawn, but unfortunately, it didn’t work at all. A dog was still able to enter my yard despite using the product. I expected it to help deter dogs, but it failed to do what it was supposed to do. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend this product if you’re looking for an effective way to keep dogs off your lawn. A waste of money.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can it be used indoors?**
A: I wouldn't. The smell is incredibly toxic.

**Q: If 1 lb is about 2 cups why are people thinking they are ripped off?**
A: The canister looks half full when received. I guess the granules get compacted during shipment. Most importantly, it did not work at all for me. A feral cat was sitting in it the same night that I put it down and it didn't deter him. Saw a rabbit just the other night and it didn't deter it at all.

**Q: Why did I receive a container that was half full? Why did I receive a container that wasn't even sealed?**
A: The containers from this company are all half full. I'm not sure why but even when I purchased them from Walmart they were the same way. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

**Q: How much do you use and how long does it last before it needs another application? Can it stand up to the rain?**
A: I myself sprinkle it around my house alley and on top of my trash. For me it last at least a month and a half for me, It stands up in the rain.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Protecting my garden from visitors of the night.

### ⭐ Waste of money, not effective on dogs

### ⭐⭐⭐ Works away, but not long lasting
*by R***J on August 4, 2026*

Works okay. It does have a strong scent among initial application. I found myself coughing also because of the dust from the pepper. But even then, the longevity claims from the packaging does not appear true in my case. This doesn’t even last 3 days in my opinion. I sprinkled heavily one area near my bushes and I still found dogs going near it and sniffing the area. I thought the scent or residual pepper dust would deter the dogs, but it didn’t. They still ended up peeing. I found that really only the day I sprinkled it (because it was naturally fresh) was really the only time it worked.
