Be gentle putting clip on antenna
This is good to have whether indoors and more particularly, outdoors. It clarifies the sound and gives greater reception. Pocket size and a decent weight , with a clip for antenna as well as clip and string to hang object whether camping or inside building. Would definitely recommend

It really works... but it's just a bit of wire.
1. Gives a great improvement to SW and VHF radio reception2. So does a length of any old scrap wire you happen to have lying around3. It's neat and tidy4. The rewind is a bit fiddly, but if they included a knob instead of a little dimple, it wouldn't be quite to neat and tidy.

Adaptor missing from package
Item arrived incomplete: the clip-on adaptor for the telescopic whip was missing from package which was a nuisance and limits usefulness.

Perfect accessory for a pocket shortwave radio but can be tricky to wind in
A great way to carry a long wire antenna with you in your pocket! Inside the retractable case there's a 7m long wire that can be extended as far as needed. To wind the wire back in you turn the rotating disk on the back of the case by inserting a finger tip in the recess. This can be tricky though, you need to keep the wire straight and under tension to prevent any tangles! The wire itself is about 1mm diameter and plastic coated, terminated with a mono 3.5mm plug. The other end is fixed into the carrier which itself has an insulated cord and clip for hanging up. If your radio does not have an external antenna socket, supplied is a 3.5mm socket adaptor to a sprung clip. This can be clipped on to the end of a telescopic antenna on the radio so as to connect it to the long wire.Overall for the price it's great value and a brilliant alternative to tangled roles of wire! There doesn't seem to be many options for this sort of thing so I was pleased to find this on Amazon for such a great price.
