This is used at a slide-across balcony door, but it was intended for a smaller window. It is too long at its smallest adjustment for a standard normal slide-across window in Canada.

I was adjusting a drape in front of the door-window balcony this is set up at. It triggered the alarm. LOL but I am extremely pleased! The lightest fumbling or criminal activity will definitely trigger this. Also it is nice to know these are good for hindering the openings into your home. This is used at a slide-across balcony door, but it was intended for a smaller window. It is too long at its smallest adjustment for a standard normal slide-across window in Canada.
