Or is it more grayish?** A: Mine has some definite white to it but there are some gray areas too. It's a pretty nice balance and is pretty rustic. It is what I would consider a pretty classic white wash look. **Q: Can you Screw it through the top even know it has something on the back for that?** A: It’s wood, so if you had long enough screws I guess you could, but I would recommend hanging it the way it’s supposed to be hung. It is very pretty and it might not look as nice and there is always the chance of splitting the wood.
