Overall a great value for the money, if you cook often on these it'll likely last 1-2yrs before wear and tear/spilt water rusts it out. Included fuel tablets should last a 2-3 day camping trip.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Question answers from the seller say you can't use wood, but a picture shows wood burning in the stove. What am I missing?**
A: If you read the documentation and view the pictures you will see that the "wood" is a actually a fuel stick like the other items for use with the stove. Reason I would suppose is that if you were to use natural wood that you could not put enough in it to cook with as it would not last nearly as long, or give you enough heat to even boil water. So the fuel sticks enables you to do that and overcomes the weakness of not being able to hold enough natural wood for cooking.

**Q: Can the stove be used with an alcohol burner instead of tablet?**
A: I made an alcohol stove from a mini-altoids tin (check on YouTube) and it works excellent!

**Q: What is the weight w/o fuel tabs?**
A: A couple of ozs

**Q: Will an Trangia alcohol stove fit with this stove?**
A: What do you mean by "fit". if you mean inside of the coghlans stove then no. Please give me more details.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works in an emergency. Easy to use. Compact.

I purchased this to be able to heat water in an emergency situation. It's very compact, so it doesn't take up a lot of space in an emergency kit. The solid fuel is also compact and easy to store. I feel more comfortable with that in my apartment than I would propane or other fuels. Hurricane Fiona gave me the opportunity to test it. The set up was easy. I used a lightweight pot with a tight fitting lid and ensured it was sheltered from wind (used it outdoors on my balcony). I had boiling water in 8 minutes with one fuel pod. Good for a cup of coffee or some instant noodles. The flame can be a bit high to start, but it wasn't problematic (just keep flammable objects away from the stove). It did blacken the bottom of my pot, but that washed off no problem. When the pod was extinguished, it left no residue. I was impressed with its performance. To be clear, this won't be the solution for everyone and you have to consider how you intend to use it and how big your family is to know whether it's the right option for you. For me, it was great. Very happy with this purchase.
