The design team at Linke must have been on form when they came up with the additional features. Battery is also good - I've had 15+ hours on low light. Only dropped one star because this version (I've had one since 2021 and still going strong) has the battery indicator on the back so you have to remove the unit (if its magnetised to a car, for example) to see the battery level. This upgrade has USB C charging which is better and faster. Haven't wanted to use it in heavy rain but it appears splash-proof.
