I am 5'9" and 168 lbs with a 40" chest and this fits me well. As you may read in other reviews it can feel a bit snug and perhaps some people find them restrictive but I am not sure how the item could actually slim otherwise. In my case I just needed it to sort of slim down my profile after losing nearly 100 lbs over the last few years. It works great when you need to tuck your shirt into jeans or when wearing clothing that is cut slim or fitted. I would suggest that when you put the tank on that you put it on over your head and arms them simply grab the very bottom seam with both hands, on in front and one in the rear and simply pull it down. To remove the tank just do the opposite and pulling gently on the very bottom with both hands "peel" it upwards and over your head. I did not find this a difficult proposition but I have been wearing athletic compression gear for years and may be more accustomed to putting stretchy, tight fitting clothing on and off than most. I ended up buying several more after buying the first one to try. I did end up sending one back because I found that it had a loose thread on the bottom seam that would eventually allowed the seam to unravel. I didn't have any issues returning the flawed garment for a refund so I didn't penalize the rating due to this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great product!! *by B***G on Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2024* Great product. I got the tank top. Although the sizing is off but when you get the one that fits you right, it fits as expected. For me, my normal shirt size is a medium, so I initially bought a medium one and it was way too small. Then I tried a large, barely could fit one arm through. I finally got the x-large and it fits the way I pictured it would. It does fit a bit snuggly like a compression shirt is suppose to do but nothing too tight where it'll leave red marks or you can't breathe but an ideally fit to do things it is suppose to do. It doesn't magically reduce down my waist but it does a good job of "slimming" the gut, love handles, and chest areas. I'm 5'8 and 155lbs, medium build (fit), but I had to go up two sizes to get the right one. Again my normal shirt size is medium. So you can use this as your reference.The reason why I gave it only four stars is due to the fact it is a little difficult to take it off. It's easier if you have someone help you but taking it off by yourself is the hard part.
